GRS identifies the stone as a Natural Ruby of Mozambique origin, records the colour as vivid red, and states “No indication of thermal treatment.” Its appendix further notes that the colour saturation is reminiscent of its GRS-type pigeon blood ruby reference, while specifically noting that the stone does not show strong fluorescence. That qualified laboratory comment is important: it supports the significance of the colour without converting the appendix wording into an unqualified Pigeon Blood designation.

The heart outline gives the Ruby a recognisable, emotionally expressive silhouette while retaining the authority expected of a serious centre stone. GRS records a brilliant/step (4) cut, and the supplied imagery shows the two approaches working together: bright angular reflections define the lobes and perimeter, while deeper red areas through the centre add visual concentration.
