This Unheated Natural Blue Star Sapphire presents a deep blue body colour with a smooth, softly diffused appearance. Under a concentrated point light source, a distinct six-rayed star crosses the polished surface, creating a luminous focal point that shifts as the gemstone or light source moves.

The gemstone is shaped as a full, symmetrical heart and finished en cabochon to display its natural asterism. Its rounded lobes, defined central cleft and tapered lower point frame the optical phenomenon, while the domed polished surface allows the mobile star to travel across the blue colour field. No obvious inclusions are visible under normal observation.
