Description

The AUREX CATHEDRAL Setting refines the classic solitaire with elevated cathedral shoulders and a disciplined row of pavé-set diamonds. The arched structure lifts an emerald cut centre gemstone clear of the band, letting light enter from beneath as well as above while the proportions stay balanced along the finger.

The cathedral arch suits a step cut particularly well: raising the stone lets the long open table read at full width from every angle, rather than sitting low and closed. And because the mount carries no stone of its own, it is a true canvas for coloured gemstones. Set a green emerald, blue or teal sapphire, aquamarine or tanzanite in white gold or platinum for a cool, architectural contrast. Yellow gold deepens warm stones such as citrine, imperial topaz, yellow sapphire and golden beryl. Rose gold flatters morganite, pink sapphire, rubellite and peach tourmaline with a soft, romantic glow.

Ten accent diamonds line the shoulders in quiet symmetry — brilliance without excess. A composition of elevation and restraint. Hand-finished in solid 9K, 14K or 18K gold or 950 platinum, with a choice of natural or lab-grown accents. Centre gemstone sold separately.
