The AVENIR Setting frames an emerald cut centre stone with four tapered baguette diamonds — two to each side, angled inward so the eye is drawn along the length of the stone. Clean lines and balanced proportions make it a design that reads as architectural rather than ornate.

Baguettes and the emerald cut share the same visual language: long, straight facets and flat, mirror-like planes rather than scattered sparkle. That makes this one of the most flattering settings for a coloured gemstone, because it shows colour honestly instead of breaking it up. Set a green emerald, blue or teal sapphire, aquamarine or tanzanite in white gold or platinum for a cool, deco-inflected contrast. Yellow gold warms citrine, imperial topaz, yellow sapphire and golden beryl into something richer. Rose gold flatters morganite, pink sapphire, rubellite and peach tourmaline with quiet romance.
