Description

The SOLARA Setting takes its name from the calm glow of the sun — a clean, modern mount that surrounds an Emerald Cut centre in a smooth, continuous rim of metal. The full bezel is both the design and the protection: it holds the stone securely, guards the vulnerable corners of a step cut, and reflects light around the whole perimeter.

Because the mount carries no stone of its own, it is a true canvas for coloured gemstones. The Emerald Cut's open table and stepped facets show colour more honestly than any brilliant cut, and the unbroken bezel frames that colour without a single competing sparkle. Set a green emerald, blue or teal sapphire, aquamarine or tanzanite in white gold or 950 platinum for a cool, architectural contrast. Yellow gold deepens warm stones such as citrine, imperial topaz and morganite into something richer. Rose gold flatters pink and peach stones with a soft, romantic glow. A colourless diamond centre suits all four metals.

The polished band flows without interruption into the crown, giving a slim 1.80 mm silhouette that wears comfortably every day. Each setting is individually crafted around the exact length, width and depth of your chosen centre stone in solid 9K, 14K or 18K gold or 950 platinum. Centre gemstone sold separately.

A continuous bezel traces the centre shape with clean definition, creating a composed and protective silhouette with nothing to catch or snag.

EMERALD CUT CENTRE PRESENTATION

The bezel is cut to the long, stepped geometry of an Emerald Cut, shielding the corners a step cut leaves most exposed while keeping the table fully open.

SET WITHOUT SIDE STONES

No accent diamonds are used anywhere in the design, leaving the selected centre gemstone as the single point of focus.

OPEN BENEATH THE STONE

Light reaches the gemstone from underneath as well as above, which matters for step cuts and for coloured stones that carry their colour through depth.

CHOOSE YOUR METAL TONE

Morganite, pink sapphire and peach tourmaline glow in rose gold; citrine, imperial topaz and golden beryl deepen in yellow gold; aquamarine, sapphire, emerald and Paraiba tourmaline read crisp against white gold or 950 Platinum.
